RUNNING RIGHT THROUGH THE WORLD
Ten track collectors album
from the "Godfathers
of American Ska" THE
TOASTERS.
Containing some rare and excellent songs from The Toasters
that are now hard to find or were only ever released on compilations
in America.
Featured on the album are two tracks recorded by the
back bone of The Toasters under lead vocalist / guitarist and Toasters
main
man
Bucket
as Lower East
Side Buck which both originally appeared on Moon Ska USA compilations
- "Monkeys
Can't Drink" from the "Skankahloics Unanimous - Under
The Influence Of Ska" album and "Davina (what Are You
Doing To me?)" from the "Love
And Affection - Songs In The Key Of Love".
"Don`t Blame Me" (Spanish version) with special guest
vocalist Los Blanquito Man which was only ever released on "Latin
Ska Vol I" in
America. There is also a live version of Toasters stage favourite "One
Track Mind" only
to be found on the UK Unicorn Records "Frankenska" live
album, and a 2000 version of "Social Security" used
more recently as a "b-side" in Germany
and the USA. There is also a hard to find version of the toasters
classic track "East
Side Beat" that originally appeared on a USA only pressing "Live
in LA".
A whole bunch of Toasters contributed to the re-working
of "2-Tone
Army" (Special
Forces Mix) by the Moon Ska Stompers from the second volume
of "NY
Beat". On top of that is a new remix of the song "Sitting
On Top Of the World" from the bands last album "Enemy
Of the State" as well
as one of the The Toasters best songs they ever recorded "Running
Right Tthrough The World".
